MSC Seaside with the longest zip line at sea
While zip lines aren’t new to the sea, MSC Cruises is looking to take this already thrilling experience to the next level. When MSC Seaside debuts in December 2017, she’ll debut the longest zip line at sea – a full 425 feet long, stretching from the top of the ship’s funnel all the way to her stern. Not only will the zip line provide for a thrilling experience, guests will have a fantastic vantage point of the deep blue ocean spreading from all sides of the MSC Seaside.
Where you’ll find her sailing: To the Caribbean from Miami, beginning in December 2017.
Crystal Esprit with a private (and not yellow) submarine
On a mission to offer the most interesting cruise experience at sea, Crystal Cruises’ new yacht, Crystal Esprit, recently debuted with a private submersible craft. Yes, a submarine. Guests sailing aboard the 62 guest yacht will have the chance to dive approximately 1,000 feet below the surface and explore the ocean world in underwater tours lasting around 30 minutes.
Where you’ll find her sailing: Around the world.
Carnival Vista with bicycles in the sky
Carnival’s newest and largest ship adds a new feature not seen at sea: bicycling in the sky. Known as SkyRide, guests climb into a suspended “bicycle” and zip around the suspended track over SportSquare, either racing your fellow shipmate or taking it slow and easy, absorbing the incredible views from above.
Where you’ll find her sailing: Throughout the Mediterranean until November and to the Caribbean from Miami, beginning in November 2016.
