Carnival Corporation has announced an order of two new cruise ships for two of their brands, Carnival Cruise Lines and Holland America Line.
The new ship orders, announced this morning, are to be delivered to Carnival and Holland America Line in March and November of 2018 respectively. Both ships will be constructed at Fincantieri’s Monfalcone shipyard, located near Venice, Italy. The two unnamed ships will follow the designs of Carnival’s new Vista Class and Holland America Line’s new Pinnacle Class. Both new ships will feature a variety of new spaces and onboard amenities unique to their new class in addition to popular options from previous ships. New spaces and amenities for the Vista Class ships will be announced at an exclusive press event on January 22nd. Earlier last month, Holland America Line released renderings of ms Koningsdam’s main public spaces. Similar design elements are expected to be carried out throughout the Pinnacle Class.
“These beautiful new ships on order from Fincantieri signify our ongoing commitment to provide the best possible guest experience across our industry-leading brands,”
