Construction Chugs Along on Carnival Cruise Line’s New Carnival Vista

May 11, 2015 by Jason Leppert

With only a year to go before her launch into service, construction on Carnival Cruise Line‘s new Carnival Vista (pictured above) is chugging along nicely at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy. The largest “Fun Ship” ever will feature wave-making features like the first IMAX Theater at sea and suspended cycling with SkyRide.

In anticipation of the cruise ship’s arrival, the Carnival Vista herself has released a fun video introducing its features in great detail below:

The Carnival Vista will set sail on May 1, 2016 from Trieste, Italy to Barcelona on a 13-day inaugural voyage. After a season of Mediterranean cruises, the ship will reposition to New York and eventually Miami for year-round Caribbean cruises beginning in November 2016.

For more information on Carnival Vista, visit Carnival Cruise Line‘s website here and Twitter here.
