Beginning on January 11, Neil Herbert will be the new head of sales for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, responsible for managing the U.K. sales team and developing travel trade relations.
On the current Jam Cruise, bassist George Porter Jr. has been replaced with former Allman Brothers and current Dead & Company bassist, Oteil Burbridge.
In destination news, the Port of Key West saw a nearly 7 percent decline in cruise traffic last year, and the Cayman Islands hope to see more local cruise ship registration after a law went into effect allowing gambling onboard while in their ports.
