For the first time in company history, Norwegian Cruise Line will be sailing five ships in European waters for the 2017 summer season. Highlights of the new European itineraries include cruises to the Baltic Capitals and sailings from Hamburg for Norwegian Jade. The cruise line also revealed details on Norwegian Escape’s cruises to the Caribbean from Miami during the same season.
Currently the second newest ship for the company, the Getaway will sail back to Europe and do 8 and 9-night cruises to the Baltic Capitals from Copenhagen. The itinerary will let guests experience the unique history, architecture, cultures, and countryside of the Baltic, and explore UNESCO World Heritage sites. The itineraries will include calls in Tallinn, Estonia; Helsinki, Finland; Stockholm, Sweden; and an overnight in St. Petersburg, Russia.
For the first time since 2010, Norwegian Cruises will return to England, as Norwegian Jade calls in Southampton during her voyages from Hamburg. From May 12 – June 20 and August 7 – October 16, 2017, guests can embark from Southampton for either 7 and 9-day cruises to western Europe or 9 and 10-day cruises to the Norwegian Fjords. Embarkation will also occur in Amsterdam on select dates for 7-day western Europe cruises.
Norwegian Spirit will sail alternating 10 and 11-night cruises in the Grand Mediterranean between Barcelona and Venice.
