From the Mexican Riviera to Alaska, It’s Three Voyages of Exploration

Yesterday, we bid Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Miracle a fond farewell in the port of Long Beach, California, and hopped a plane for Portland, Oregon, where our next adventure awaits!
Over the course of the next week, we’ll be sailing aboard Un-Cruise Adventures’ intimate S.S. Legacy, a sleek vessel inspired by the glory days of steamship travel at the start of the last century. We’re sailing roundtrip from Portland, Oregon along the Columbia and Snake Rivers, from the rugged terrain of Hell’s Canyon to the east to the beautiful city of Astoria, Oregon all the way out on the Pacific.
We’ll have a complete day-by-day writeup of our voyage coming up…but sadly, we can’t share it with you live: all Un-Cruise ships lack onboard Wi-Fi. And personally, I’m thrilled about that. Wi-Fi is great (particularly when you’re in the business I am in), but it’s also distracting. The “real world” constantly pulls for your attention. Un-Cruise is all about full destination immersion, and that’s something that’s hard to do when half your guests are twittering away.
We’ll be sailing aboard S.S. Legacy from June 6 to 13, and will be scheduling our posts for later on this month.
