Today in Bremerhaven, Germany, Royal Caribbean took delivery of its latest ship, Ovation of the Seas.
The handover ceremony, attended by executives from both Royal Caribbean and Meyer Werft, marked the official start of Ovation of the Seas’ sailing career with Royal Caribbean. The traditional handover ceremony included the raising of Royal Caribbean’s house flag, registry country flag, and homeport country flag over the brand new ship.
Ovation of the Seas, third in Royal Caribbean’s groundbreaking Quantum Class, will be the 24th ship of the Royal Caribbean fleet, offering a number of cutting edge amenities found aboard the Quantum Class ships and her earlier fleetmates.
