Over the past week, our friends over at Cruise Fever have been compiling a number of articles displaying cruise passengers and their terrible ideas. Now, with their permission, we here at Cruise Currents would also like to share these photos and help explain why these ideas are truly terrible.
Perching On The Balcony
Last week, a guest sailing aboard Carnival’s Carnival Breeze spotted an interesting guest aboard Norwegian’s Norwegian Getaway during sail away from St. Maarten. Upon further inspection, the Carnival Breeze passenger realized the guest in question was sitting over his balcony railing, just one deck above a partially exposed promenade. Now, while sitting on a balcony railing is simply a bad idea in any case, at least this passenger figured the metal overhang might catch him. In all reality though, all it would take is a sudden movement from the ship to send him onto the overhang and rolling down to the promenade below, not only injuring himself, but other passengers as well. Verdict: Terrible
