During tomorrow’s annual Rose Parade, Princess Cruises will feature its Regal Princess float with The Love Boat cast aboard for the ride. The event launches the cruise line’s 50th anniversary in 2015 while highlighting its newest cruise ship and honoring the significance of The Love Boat television show in its successful history.
Titled “50 Years of Inspiring Travel,” the 60-foot-long and 24-foot-high float will be composed of more than 24,000 flowers and natural materials. Depicted onboard will be cruise destinations the line has sailed to over the years represented by the Sydney Opera House, the leaning tower of Pisa, the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, a Japanese pagoda, the Golden Gate Bridge and more.
