Day 2 – Exploring Glacier Bay National Park

I awoke this morning feeling superbly refreshed after my first night onboard Un-Cruise Adventures’ Safari Endeavour. Even in my Commander Stateroom – which features twin beds that cannot be combined into a queen – the mattresses are superbly comfortable, and the pillows are nice and fluffy. A wool throw is also provided should you want that extra bit of warmth, but I found I didn’t need it.
There are 18 Commander Staterooms aboard Safari Endeavour, and I absolutely love mine. Located on Deck 3, these feature two twin beds and two view windows. A doorway is positioned in the middle of the room that opens outward to the Deck 3 promenade, so you’ll want to have a coat when you go down for breakfast. It is, however, one of the coziest staterooms I’ve had on any ship, and there’s more storage space in the three closets and six drawers than I would ever need. My luggage also slipped neatly beneath one of the two beds – a huge bonus on a small ship.
