Royal Caribbean took delivery of their newest cruise ship, Symphony of the Seas, at a traditional flag-changing ceremony. This symbolizes the cruise ship’s official delivery from the ship builder to the cruise line.
Symphony of the Seas is the largest cruise ship ever built and took 4,700 shipbuilders three years to build the vessel. Symphony of the Seas is the fourth of five Oasis class ships from the cruise line.
The 25th cruise ship in Royal Caribbean’s fleet, Symphony of the Seas is 228,081 gross tons in size, measures 238 feet tall and spans 1,188 feet long. She will welcome 5,518 guests at double occupancy in 2,759 staterooms, including 28 additional balcony
